Self Portraits

 In creating the portrait series, I was using a uniform subject matter (myself), which was intended to allow me to measure changes in affect and identify developments in my visual language. It soon became obvious that portraits worked as a whole and would form other narratives when curated and installed. To date, I have created a total of 52 portraits. As artefacts of self, I am reluctant to assign these to failures and successes and have not yet decided on the presentation of the finished work.
